According to the United Nations website, it is "a comprehensive plan of action to be taken globally nationally and locally by organizations of the United Nations System, Governments, and Major Groups in every area in which human impacts on the environment." It was introduced at the UN Conference on Environment & Development in Rio de Janeiro in June 1992 and is commonly known as the "Earth Summit." It contains 40 chapters and more than 350 pages of recommendations to reorganize the global society around the principles of environmental protection, social equity and what is called "sustainable" development. The underlying principle of sustainable development is the assumption that government must manage society to ensure that human activity conforms to its principles.
It is a document that uses the environment as a tool to achieve the UN's ultimate goal of global governance.
Its principles are diametrically opposed to the American concept that the just power of government is derived from the consent of the people. It promotes the concept that government is inherently empowered to manage the affairs of society and governing private property rights. This is evidenced throughout America today by local governments dictating how private property owners may or may not use their land. Private property that was once considered a sacred right is now being managed locally by government policies like zoning codes, Vision 2040, sustainable develop programs, eco-friendly initiatives, and imposition of Smart Growth Codes.
Unfortunately, the transition and implementation of this UN Treaty "recommendations" have not been the results of the deliberate actions of the U.S. Congress to approve this protocol after fair and public debates. It was defeated on the floor of the Senate, but subsequently imposed on society by President Clinton through Executive Order #12852 in 1993. This created the President's Council on Sustainable Development which began implementing the provisions of UN Agenda 21 through all departments of the executive branch of the U.S. government.
Sustainable development calls for changing the very infrastructure of the nation, away from private ownership and control of property through central planning of the entire economy. It is a form of wealth redistribution. Social justice is a major premise of sustainable development and is the process by which America is being reorganized around a central principle of state collectivism using the environment as the "driver." Its three major tenets are social equity, environment prosperity, and ecological integrity.
An underlying philosophy of Agenda 21 is that "land cannot be treated as an ordinary asset, controlled by the individuals and subject to the pressures and inefficiencies of the market. Private land ownership is also a principal instrument of accumulation and concentration of wealth, therefore, contributes to social injustice." The opposite of social injustice is social equity which is based on the principle that individuals must give up selfish wants for the needs of the "community" good. How does this differ from socialism or communism?
Locally, the city of Las Cruces has implemented land-use provisions of Agenda 21 through their membership in, and adoption of the policies of the UN's International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI). According to the ICLEI webpage, its objective is to implement the provisions of Agenda 21, the UN Framework for Climate Change, and the Habitat Agenda. I believe that these objectives are in serious conflict with the democratic principles and values of the majority of American society, our sovereignty and our free-enterprise economic system.
You don't have to accept my views but you do need to be able to counter them with intelligent discussion based on your reading and understanding Agenda 21. As Freeman Dyson said, "to handle the problem intelligently, we need to understand all the causes and all the consequences".
Rather than resorting to the name calling I would suggest everyone attempt to become intellectually honest when challenging other people's assertions and at least read the basic document before attacking their viewpoints. We will all be able to make better decisions.

Social Engineering Bill In Senate Will Force You Into City

A social engineering bill to restrict residence in the suburbs and rural areas and force Americans into city centers has passed the United States Senate Banking Committee and is on the fast track to passage in the Senate.
The bill is called the Livable Communities Act (SB 1619) and it was introduced by corruptocrat outgoing Senator Christopher Dodd (D-Conn.). It seeks to fulfill the United Nation’s plan Agenda 21, adopted at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro in 1992 and signed onto by “New World Order” President George H.W. Bush.
This bill is designed to destroy your community. According to the non-profit American Policy Center the bill:
- Is a blueprint for the transformation of our society into total Federal control.
- Will enforce Federal Sustainable Development zoning and control of local communities.
- Will create a massive new “development” bureaucracy.
- Will drive up the cost of energy to heat and cool your home.
- Will drive up the cost of gasoline as a way to get you out of your car.
- Will force you to spend thousands of dollars on your home in order to comply.
A carrot and stick policy will be used to get your local government to sign on. The carrot is billions of dollars in grants available if your local government agrees to amend zoning laws that restrict housing in outlying areas, forcing people to give up their homes and land and move into the city center.
The stick will be denial of the funds and bad publicity generated by “Green” organizations criticizing government officials for turning down free money.
The rub is the grants will come with strings attached that force local governments to bend to the will of the Feds.
The idea of these social engineering initiatives is to force people to live in a congested area in high rise buildings with housing on the upper floors and stores on the bottom. The whole area will be linked by mass transit creating the “utopian” communities loved by socialists.
The result will be higher costs for housing (because overcrowding will make housing space a premium) and goods and services (because of less choice and competition) and less freedom to move about (because cars won’t be necessary and parking space will be prohibitively expensive).
As we pointed out here President Barack Obama is — not surprisingly — an advocate of this type of nonsense. And his cabinet is populated by elitists who think they know better than you how you should live.
It is imperative that you call your two Senators immediately and tell them to oppose Dodd’s SB1619.

Establishes in the executive branch an independent Interagency Council on Sustainable Communities.
Requires the OSHC Director to establish a program to make comprehensive planning grants and sustainability challenge grants to eligible entities (partnerships between a consortium of units of general local government and an eligible partner, which may be a metropolitan planning organization, a rural planning organization, a regional council, or a state).
Requires the use of a comprehensive planning grant to carry out a project to: (1) coordinate land use, housing, transportation, and infrastructure planning processes across jurisdictions and agencies; (2) identify potential regional partnerships for developing and implementing a comprehensive regional plan; (3) conduct or update housing, infrastructure, transportation, energy, and environmental assessments to determine regional needs and promote sustainable development; (4) develop or update a comprehensive regional plan or goals and strategies to implement an existing comprehensive regional plan; and (5) implement local zoning and other code changes necessary to implement a comprehensive regional plan and promote sustainable development.

Directs the OSHC Director to study and report to specified congressional committees on incentives for encouraging lenders to make, and homebuyers and homeowners to participate in, energy-efficient mortgages and location-efficient mortgages.

A man whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II, owned a number of large industries and estates. When asked how many Germans were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism. "Very few were true Nazis," he said, "but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. We are told again and
again by 'experts' and 'talking heads' that Islam is the religion of peace
and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although
this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is
meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish
the spectre of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of
Islam.
The fact is that the
fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history. It is the fanatics who
march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 wars worldwide. It
is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are
gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the
fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, and honor-kill. It is the fanatics who
take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the
doctrine of stoning and hanging rape victims and homosexuals. It is the
fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers.
The hard, quantifiable fact is
that the peaceful majority, the 'silent majority,' is cowed and
extraneous.
Communist Russia was
comprised of people who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists
were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful
majority were irrelevant.
China's huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.
The average Japanese
prior to World War II was not a
warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South
East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12
million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and
bayonet.
And who can forget
Rwanda , which
collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of
Rwandans were peace loving?
History lessons are
often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason, we often
miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points: Peace-loving
Muslims have been made irrelevant by
their silence.
Peace-loving Muslims
will become our enemy if they don't speak up, because like my friend from
Germany , they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the
end of their world will have begun.
Peace-loving Germans,
Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis,
Nigerians, Algerians, and many
others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too
late.
As for us who watch it
all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts -- the fanatics
who threaten our way of life.
Lastly, anyone who
doubts that the issue is serious is contributing to the passiveness that allows the problems to expand.

2)Stop ALL further “stimulus” payouts and return all unspent funds to the Treasury
3) De-fund “Obama-Care” medical legislation
4) FREEZE all federal spending at current levels, immediately.
(Many programs have automatic escalators for annual increases built in—halt these!)
5) Mandate for 2 years, a 5-10% REDUCTION of funding in ALL Federal programs (except military) This should include ALL entitlement programs.

article is such good reading but hard to believe it was written by a
devout Liberal. Chuck Green is stating some very obvious facts
here...but...the irony is that The Denver Post and Chuck Green are very
far-left-wing liberals. Gee, I can't imagine what might have made

DO YOU HAVE YOUR USA TICKET?
If
you had tickets to a sports event, concert, Disneyland, or on an
airplane, and when you got to your assigned seat, and someone else was
in that seat, what would you do? You would call for a person in
charge of ticket checking and have the person in your seat removed.
You would be properly asked to show your ticket, and you would
gladly and proudly do so, for you have bought and paid for that seat.
The person in your seat would also be asked for a ticket, and
they would not be able to produce one. They would be called “gate
crashers” and they would be properly removed.
Now
in this huge stadium called the USA we have had millions of gate
crashers. We have been asking security to check for tickets and
remove the gate crashers. We have been asking security to have
better controls in checking at the door. We have asked security
to lock the back doors. Security has failed us. They are
still looking the other way. They are afraid to ask to see the
tickets. Many people say there is unlimited seating, and whether
there is or not, no one should be allowed in for free while the
rest of us pay full price!
In
section AZ, of Stadium USA, we have had enough of the failures of
Security. We have decided to do our own ticket checking, and
properly remove those who do not have tickets. Now it seems very
strange to me that so many people in the other 49 sections, and even
many in our own section do not want tickets checked, or even be asked
to show their ticket! Even the head of Security is chastising us,
while not doing his own job which he has sworn to do.
My
own ticket has been bought and paid for so I am going to proudly show
it when asked to do so. I have a right to my seat, and I want the
gate crashers to be asked to show their tickets too. The only
reason that I can imagine anyone objecting to being asked for their
ticket is that they are in favor of gate crashing, and all of the
illegal activities that go with it. Such as drug smuggling, gang
wars, murder, human smuggling for profit, and many more illegal and
inhumane acts that we are trying to prevent with our new legislation.
Is that what I am hearing from all of the protestors such as
Phoenix Mayor Gordon, US Rep. Grijalva, even President Obama? If
you are not in favor of showing tickets, (proof of citizenship,
passport, green card, or other legal document) when asked, as I would
proudly do, then you must be condoning those illegal activities.

'My Fellow Americans: As you all know, the defeat of the Iraq regime has been completed.
Since Congress does not want to spend any more money on this war, our mission in Iraq is complete.
This morning I gave the order for a complete removal of all American forces from Iraq . This action will be complete within 30 days. It is now time to begin the reckoning.
Before me, I have two lists. One list contains the names of countries which have stood by our side during the Iraq conflict. This list is short . The United Kingdom , Spain , Bulgaria , Australia , and Poland are some of the countries listed there.
The other list contains every one not on the first list. Most of the world's nations are on that list. My press secretary will be distributing copies of both lists later this evening.
Let me start by saying that effective immediately, foreign aid to those nations on List 2 ceases indefinitely. The money saved during the first year alone will pretty much pay for the costs of the Iraqi war. THEN EVERY YEAR THEREAFTER It'll GO TO OUR SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM SO IT WONT GO BROKE IN 20 YEARS.
The American people are no longer going to pour money into third world Hell holes and watch those government leaders grow fat on corruption.

I have instructed the Mayor of New York City to begin towing the many UN diplomatic vehicles located in Manhattan with more than two unpaid parking tickets to sites where those vehicles will be stripped, shredded and crushed.
